LEE MOONEY

Lee Mooney is the managing director of Mooney Boats Ltd. He has been working here 24 years having started out as a qualified welder/fabricator. Lee now is responsible for the day to day running of the company.

DARRON CONNOLLY

Darron started at the company 18 years ago as a welder/fabricator and is now in the role of boatyard foreman. Darron along with Kevin is responsible for managing all the yards work

KEVIN O’DONNELL

Kevin started working at Mooney Boats Ltd back in 1995 as a 16 year old apprentice, so he brings a huge amount of experience the company. Along with Darron he is responsible for managing the yard.

Boatyard

At Mooney Boats Ltd, our boatyard shed is a hub of activity and innovation. Inside, you’ll find a range of machines and tooling, including our CNC plasma cutter, providing the tools necessary for efficient and precise work on new builds or repairs. The shed offers a protected environment for our team to carry out their tasks, ensuring optimal conditions for quality craftsmanship. Surrounding the shed, our boatyard provides ample space for outdoor boat storage, allowing vessels to be safely kept when not in use. With our comprehensive facilities, Mooney Boats Ltd is fully equipped to support all aspects of vessel construction, maintenance, and repair.

Boat Hoist

Mooney Boats have the largest boat hoist in Ireland available at our Boatyard in Killybegs. Designed to operate on finger piers, the Boat Hoist can travel throughout the boat yard or marina, it can even load trailers and trucks. With an experienced, professional operator at the controls, you can be rest assured that your boat can be lifted out of the water ready for dry dock, and of course, gently lifted back into the water for the summer.

Syncrolift
