The Bushnell Prime Binoculars series represents a great entry-level option for wildlife watching with quality optical performance. They are O-ring sealed to provide IPX7 waterproofing (which means that they stay dry for up to 30 mins in 3ft of water). The fully multi-coated and anti-reflective coatings provide a bright image with high contrast and the prisms are BAK-4 for excellent low light performance. If it is a wide field of view that you require consider the 8 x 32 model. The Prime binoculars range is lightweight but robust, great for fieldwork.
