Jotun Mare Nostrum SP Antifoul, 750ml & 2.5 ltr

For most type of boats. Efficient and economic self polishing antifouling based on special binders providing a highly active surface. Suitable for all types of boats with speeds less than 25 knots. Colour white is specifically suitable for aluminium hulls.

Colours: Dark Blue, red, black, white.

Pillot II

Pilot II is an alkyd based topcoat for both exterior and interior use. This product is part of a complete system which is
certified not to spread surface flames. Pilot II bases are intermediates and need to be processed before use.

Recommended Use
Topcoat in a traditional alkyd system suitable for steel and woodwork. Good weather and colour stability. Good hiding
power.

Surface preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contamination. The surface should be assessed and treated in
accordance with ISO 8504.

Coated surfaces
Clean, dry and undamaged compatible primer. Please contact your local Jotun office for more information.

Other surfaces
The coating may be used on other substrates. Please contact your local Jotun office for more information.

Jotamastic 87

Jotamastic 87 is a two-pack surface tolerant, abrasion resistant, high solids, polyamine cured epoxy mastic coating
which may be applied in high film thickness. Available with different hardeners for varying substrate temperatures,
Standard (Std) and Wintergrade (WG). This product is a part of a complete system which is certified not to spread
flames.

Steel where blast cleaning may not be possible and on hydrojetted surfaces still being moist where gloss and colour
retention is of minor importance. Can be used alone or in combination with various systems of primers and topcoats.
Gives excellent corrosion protection both in salt and fresh water. If exposed to sunlight chalking may occur.

Jotamastic 87 Aluminium

This version of Jotamastic 87 Aluminium is supplied with the Standard Hardener for use at temperatures above 10C.

Jotamastic 87 Aluminium should be used as a first coat direct on to steel surfaces where high standards of surface preparation have not been possible. It contains aluminium flakes for an improved barrier effect. For subsequent coats use coloured Jotamastic 87.

Thinning by 10% with Jotun Thinners 17 is essential when using airless spray and is also recommended when using a brush or roller.

Jotamastic 87 can be used alone or in combination with single pack (not Pilot 2) or 2 pack topcoats. It may also be used as a primer over single pack paint systems prior to applying a 2 pack topcoat.

Jotamastic 87 gives excellent corrosion protection both in salt and fresh water. Applied at the correct film thickness to properly prepared steel, it is able to prevent corrosion for up to 15 years.

Jotun Hardtop

Hardtop AS is a two pack Aliphatic polyurethane high gloss coating for use as topcoat on vessels and other marine structures: Super structures, decks, topsides and engine rooms. When applied over Epoxy mastic, it offers the ultimate protection against the elements.

• Extensive colour range (Jotun multicolor)

Supertropic Antifouling

Antifouling Super Tropic is a tin free, medium strength conventional hard antifouling that will last well for one season. It is particularly suitable for slow vessels and vessels that remain moored for most of the season. Not for use on aluminium vessels.

Seaforce 30

Antifouling Seaforce 30 is a high performance, medium to high strength, copper oxide based self-polishing antifouling that will give 2-3 years service. It is suitable for most types of craft including high speed vessels. It contains an added anti-slime ingredient. Not for use on aluminium.

Seaforce 60

To be used on vessels operating in global service with drydocking intervals up to 36 months on the vertical side and up to 60 months on the flatbottom when good fouling protection/performance is important. Can also be specified for 60 months on boottop on vessels that spend a significant time in ballast condition.

Seaforce 90

To be used on vessels operating in global service with drydocking intervals up to 60 months. SeaForce 90 is well suited
to offer 60 months antifouling performance on all underwater areas on vessels trading at high frequency.
